System Assurance in Taiwan

Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp was formed from Taiwan High Speed Rail Consortium (THSRC), which consisted of Continental Engineering Corp, Evergreen Marine Corp (Taiwan) Ltd, Fubon Insurance Co Ltd, Pacific Electric Wire & Cable Co Ltd, TECO Electric & Machinery Co LTd.

QARS successfully won several THSRC contracts and provided our technical knowledge in System Assurance.

We wish to announce our new appointment of Ms Joanne Tse as our Director in our Hong Kong Branch.

In this developing market, Joanne has been appointed to take QARS into a new era to create innovation to support our client's needs and her dynamic capabilities to find a win-win solution to enhance profit potential to the success of our clients and the company.

Contractors Safety Award

Providing Construction Safety Consultancy Service is one of our major work scopes. For the KCRC West Rail Contract No. DB-1400 (Traction Power and Overhead Line System), QARS provides full-time Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and Safety & Health Consultancy Service to Siemens-CITIC Consortium (the main Contractor of DB-1400).

Among 59 West Rail and 52 East Rail Extensions contracts, it is our pleasure to announce that DB-1400 has won the West Rail ROS Contractors Safety Award for two consecutive periods. The joint effort between the Contractor and QARS on safety for DB-1400 was recognised by KCRC during the Contractors Safety Award Ceremony at KCRC House of Fo Tan on 23 September 2002 and 24 January 2003.
