QARS was established in Singapore
in 1998 specialising in railways and other Industries.
Our experiences include major infrastructure projects,
such as Changi Airport MRT Extension (CAE), North East
Line (NEL), Marina Line (MRL).
The
Changi Airport MRT Extension (CAE) branches off from the
existing East West MRT Line at Tanah Merah MRT station.
It consists of two stations - Changi Airport and Expo
stations.[Source]
The
North East Line (NEL) is the second major MRT line to
be built since the completion of the main MRT network
in 1990. When completed, the line will connect the housing
towns in Hougang, Sengkang and Punggol to the heart of
the business district.
The
Marina Line (MRL) is the first stage of the Circle Line
(CCL). It will run from Dhoby Ghaut to Stadium Boulevard.[Source]
Monorail Malaysia was borne out
of the Asian Economic Crisis of 1997 when the KL Monorail
project, faced with astronomical increase in train price
which would have made the project no longer viable, was
forced to look at alternative solution to survive. [Source]
